On the last Saturday of August, to mark the Day of Remembrance for the Defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for the country’s independence, the traditional commemorative run will take place across Ukraine and abroad.

"Honoring Warriors – Running for the Heroes of Ukraine" is an annual initiative dedicated to commemorating fallen Defenders and fostering national and patriotic awareness in society.

Each participant dedicates their run to a specific Hero, sharing their story with the world — a story of courage, sacrifice, and love for Ukraine.

Registration for the run in Kyiv and abroad is open until August 10, 2025, at the following link:
