Ambassador of Ukraine Andrii Beshta met with Mrs. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Kingdom of Thailand

On 04 November 2016 H.E. Mr. Andrii Beshta, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Thailand, met with Mrs. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Kingdom of Thailand. The meeting was aimed at discussing the current Ukrainian-Thai agenda in the abovementioned areas
Given the significant increase in the number of citizens of Ukraine who visit Thailand as tourists the Thai Side was requested to liberalize the visa regime for Ukrainian tourists. The Thai Side was also invited to participate in the ХХІІ International Travel & Tourism Show UITT-2017 in Kyiv (29-31 of March, 2017), in particular to get acquainted with tourism potential of Ukraine.
Both Sides agreed to advance the cooperation in the sphere of sports, in particular to prepare for signing the Agreement between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Kingdom of Thailand.
In the framework of 25th Anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between Ukraine and the Kingdom of Thailand the idea of organization in 2017 of a friendly Muay Thai competition between the sports teams of both countries.
