The Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine a.i. in the Kingdom of Thailand Oleksandr Lysak and consular official Dmytro Deineko met with high-ranking officials of the Office of the Attorney General of the Kingdom of Thailand, namely the Director of the Department of Special Litigation Pornchai Cholvanichkul and Director of the Department of International Relations Jumpon Phansumrit.

The parties discussed the issue of protecting the rights of Ukrainian citizens in the Kingdom of Thailand, as well as the prospects for the development of cooperation within the framework of the Agreement on mutual cooperation between the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine and the Office of the Attorney General of the Kingdom of Thailand dated June 16, 2017, taking into account the ongoing heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people against the Russian invaders.

The Ukrainian side called on the Office of the Attorney General of the Kingdom of Thailand to join the efforts of the international community to bring russia and individuals who contributed to the aggression to international legal responsibility.

In this connection, there was an exchange of views on existing mechanisms, particularly within the Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group framework.
