On May 30, 2021 H.E. Mr. Andrii Beshta, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Thailand untimely passed away due heart failure during his stay in Satun province where he had meetings with the leadership of Tourism Council of Thailand and Satun Tourist Business Association while completing his diplomatic assignment in the Kingdom of Thailand.
From 1 through 5 June 2021 an official Funeral Ceremony of H.E. Mr. Andrii Beshta, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Thailand was held in the Wat Thepsirin Temple of Bangkok.
On June 2, 2021 His Majesty the King of Thailand graciously took under Royal Patronage the funeral rites for His Excellency Mr. Andrii Beshta which is the highest recognition of the latter’s significant contribution to the development of the Ukrainian-Thai relations.
The official ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other authorities of the Kingdom of Thailand, members of the Senate, representatives of Thai military and police, representatives of Thai business, cultural and media circles, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Bangkok, friends and colleagues of the late Ambassador.
On June 5, 2021 the official Royal Patronage Cremation ceremony was chaired by H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand.
On June 6, 2021 the ashes of the late Ambassador of Ukraine were solemnly transported to the Embassy of Ukraine in Bangkok.

Mr. Andrii Beshta and support of his family.
