The Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Thailand with deep sorrow informs that H.E. Mr. Andrii Beshta, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Thailand, untimely passed away on May 30, 2021.

H.E. Mr. Andrii Beshta was one of the most experienced representatives of the Ukrainian diplomatic corps, a renowned professional in relations within the UN and other international organizations. 

During his diplomatic assignment in Thailand H.E. Mr. Andrii Beshta actively promoted the creation of a solid foundation for further development of Ukrainian-Thai cooperation for the benefit of both countries and peoples. The personal contribution of Ambassador Andrii Beshta to the development of political dialogue, strengthening economic relations, deepening ties in the sphere of defence, fostering cooperation in the sphere of science and technology, facilitating traveling between Ukraine and Thailand, is remarkable. 

The Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Thailand deeply grieves over the death of Ambassador Andrii Beshta and conveys its sincere condolences to his family and relatives.
