At least 7 people were killed and 15 wounded after Russia struck a crowded market in Druzhkivka, the Donetsk region, with cluster munitions.
The attack happened around midday, when the market was busy. Russian forces used a Smerch multiple-launch missile system with cluster ammunition – weapons designed to cause maximum harm to civilians.
Russia must face stronger international pressure, and Ukraine needs enhanced air defence to stop these attacks.
