Lviv Region is an oblast (province) in western Ukraine with a population more than  2,5 million people. The administrative center of the oblast is the city of Lviv, which is the largest city in western Ukraine and the seventh-largest city in the country overall, with a population of 755 800 as of 2020. Lviv is one of the main cultural centres of Ukraine. 

The core advantages of Lviv region are already sufficiently public knowledge and do not require further elaboration. These include close to proximity to the EU border, deep historical and cultural ties with the rest of Central Europe, and a large pool of well-educated professionals.

 

The investment Department of the Lviv Region aspires to create an investment office working according to a principle "one stop shop". The Investment Projects Support Department creates comfortable conditions for doing business in Lviv region.
