On October 29, 2018 Ambassador Andrii Beshta met with the Union Minister for International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar H.E. Mr. U Kyaw Tin and the Union Minister for the Office of the Union Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar H.E. U Thaung Tun in Myanmar capital Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meetings Ambassador has emphasized the interest of Ukraine in strengthening of bilateral relations and mutually-beneficial cooperation with the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
Both sides discussed steps that could be taken to provide a new dynamic to bilateral cooperation in the number of areas, including in political dialogue, trade and people-to-people contacts.
