On June 26, 2018 Ambassador Andrii Beshta held the meeting with Mr. Kalin Sarasin, the Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC) and Chairman of the Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT).

During the meeting the Parties expressed their satisfaction with high dynamics of bilateral trade between the two countries that made Thailand on of the key trade partners of Ukraine in the Southeast Asia.
Taking into account that the major part of the Ukraine’s exports to the Kingdom consists of the agricultural products Ambassador informed the leaderships of the TCC about highly developed industrial, scientific and technical potential of Ukraine, outlining the prospects of bilateral cooperation in such areas as energy, transport infrastructure, aerospace and aircraft technologies, IT-development, etc. in line with the “Thailand 4.0” policy.
Discussing the opportunities of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of investments Ambassador informed the Thai Partners about the activities of the Investment Promotion Office under the Government of Ukraine tasked with providing assistance and support to the implementation of foreign investment projects. Andrii Beshta also shared the list of Ukrainian enterprises to be privatized in the course of 2018 year and invited the Thai business to consider investing in Ukraine.
Also both sides agreed to strengthen the cooperation between Ukrainian and Thai Chambers of Commerce.
