On March 16, 2022, the Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Thailand Oleksandr Lysak held an online meeting with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Kingdom of Thailand Chote Trachu, discussing a wide range of issues regarding the stranded Ukrainian tourists, who currently stay in Thailand after a full-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has started.

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Kingdom of Thailand will assist the Ukrainian tourists in meeting their humanitarian needs and organizing a safe stay in Thailand. The information about the results of the implementation of the reached agreements will be provided additionally.
