On March 31, 2023, in the framework of the 21st Bangkok International Book Fair, the Embassy held a presentation of the book "The Gates of Europe. A History of Ukraine", written by the professor of history at Harvard University Serhii Plokhy, translated into Thai language and released by "Arrow" publishing house.

As part of the book presentation, Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Thailand, Mr. Pavlo Orel informed the participants about the key milestones of the history of Ukraine, drawing parallels between the path of becoming a democratic and sovereign Ukrainian nation, which for centuries fought for its right for independence, with the current struggle of Ukrainian people against the Russian aggression.
