On August 25, 2022 the first meeting of the group of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of inter-parliamentary relations with the Kingdom of Thailand and the friendship group with Ukraine of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Thailand was held, co-chaired by the Presidents of the groups – Mr. Mykhailo Radutskyi and Mr. Chen Namchaisiri.

During the meeting both sides discussed the issues of development and intensification of the inter-parliamentary cooperation between Ukraine and the Kingdom of Thailand. The Thai side assured of Thailand's support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and promised to hold appropriate consultations with representatives of the Thai government regarding increase of Thailand’s humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
