On July 20th, 2021 the first video conference in recent years between the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Thai Chamber of Commerce - Thai Trade Council “Enhancement of Ukrainian-Thai Economic Cooperation” was held fruitfully with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Thailand.

During the event, the President of the UCCI of Ukraine Gennadiy Chizhikov presented the economic potential of Ukraine, informed about the possibilities of the Chamber in establishing relations between business circles of both countries, and invited the Thai side to visit Ukraine.

The Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce Sanan Angubolkul informed participants about the possibilities of the entity headed by him and supported the enhancement of cooperation with the UCCI.

Mr. Pavlo Orel, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Thailand highlighted the necessity to intensify trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Thailand, affirming to continue meetings between the Chambers of Commerce of both states in an "online" format.

Following the meeting, specific steps were agreed to strengthen and foster the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce of Ukraine and the Kingdom of Thailand.
