On December 16th, 2021, in Bangkok a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Exporters and Investors Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Board of Trade of Thailand, which will deepen bilateral trade and economic cooperation in promoting Ukrainian goods and services. The document provides for the establishment of bilateral cooperation in disseminating information on business proposals, preparing for joint conferences, seminars and exhibitions, organizing and accompanying visits of business delegations, advising potential investors and business representatives of both countries, etc.
During the ceremony, the Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Thailand Pavlo Orel highlighted that the main tasks of the Exporters and Investors Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine are to promote bilateral trade in terms of promoting Ukrainian exports and attracting foreign investment. The memorandum will be an additional effective tool for the development of trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Thailand, which will help establish mutually beneficial ties between the business circles of both countries.
In turn, the Chairman Board of Trade of Thailand Sanan Angubolkul agreed on the need to intensify mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between Thailand and Ukraine, reaffirming the Thai side's commitment to joint activities with the Exporters and Investors Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to promote economic growth.
