On December 13, 2023 Mr. Pavlo Orel, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i., held a meeting with Hon. Mr. Nappadon Pattama, the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Thailand together with the esteemed members of the Committee. During the meeting both sides touched upon the issues of intensification of the bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation. The Thai parliamentarians were informed about the courageous and resilient struggle of the Ukrainian people to counter the ongoing armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine. Mr. Pavlo Orel called upon the members of Foreign Affairs Committee to promote the issue of recognition of the Holodomor in Ukraine of 1932-1933 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people by the Thai parliament, as well as to support the President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Peace Formula.
