Regarding the situation in Zaporizhzhya NPP

On November 28, 2014 at 7:24 p.m. the unit № 3 of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant was disconnected from the network.
The cause of the accident was the fault of the winding voltage transformer section auxiliary power unit, which led to the shutdown of the transformer of auxiliary sections and the main transformer.
As of December 3, 2014 the the unit № 3 is in a "cold" state. Currently the repair team are taking steps to restore power to unit № 3.
The radiation situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP is unchanged within the normal range, physical protection is in the normal mode.
