E-VISA

Electronic Visa (E-Visa)

Citizens of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos are eligible for the single-entry e-Visa for entry into Ukraine. The visa is valid up to 30 days:

Benefits of the e-Visa:

  • Remote submission of documents at any convenient time and obtaining e-Visa without visiting consular office;

  • Centralized processing all e-Visas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine;
  • 24/7 informational support for applicants through evisa@mfa.gov.ua;
  • Processing time - up to 9 business days.

In order to obtain the e-Visa, several simple steps are to be taken: fill out online application form on http://evisa.mfa.gov.ua, upload scanned copies of the required documents, pay visa fee by bank card (MasterCard Worldwide or Visa International) and print out the e-Visa e-mailed to applicant’s address.

For kind attention of e-visa applicants, citizens of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos

Please keep in mind that electronic visas are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine as single entry visa only. Duration of stay in Ukraine with e-visa is up to 30 days only. You have to submit your application form for e-visa not later than 10 working days before your trip.

All the other kinds of visa must be obtained from the Embassy.

In order to be granted e-visa, please proceed to the steps as follows:

Step 1. Register at the MFA web-platform http://evisa.mfa.gov.ua

Step 2. Fill in application form online

Step 3. Upload copies of necessary documents:

 - photo;

- passport;

- health insurance policy (30,000 euro coverage);

- proof of sufficient funds;

document confirming the purpose of the visit (invitation letter from an entity/company/organization registered in Ukraine, hotel/accommodation booking(s), program of stay, information on the tour(s) and the tour(s’) timeframes, tourist agency details, transfer details, sightseeing information etc.). Please note that granting of tourist visa is subject to uploading valid tourist voucher, hotel booking only may not be sufficient to get the e-visa.

Step 4. Pay the fee (85 USD) by MasterCard/Visa card.

All e-Visa applications are processed within 9 business days, e-Visa or visa refusal letter is sent to the applicant’s email address.

Important note! E-Visa is sent in pdf format.

All applicants should submit their printed e-Visas (along with their valid travel documents) to Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service officers when entering Ukraine.

MFA highly recommends all applicants to take time and look through the ”Help” section of the e-Visa website prior to registering and filling in the application form online.

 

For kind attention of e-visa applicants, citizens of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos 

The Ukrainian Government approved the decision to diversify e-visa services by extending range of applicants who are eligible to be granted electronic visa. In addition to travelling with business and tourism purposes, Thai, Myanmar and Lao citizens will have the opportunity to obtain e-visa for visiting Ukraine on the following purposes:

- attending friends or family members;

- medical treatment;

- activities in the sphere of culture, science, education and sport;

- media-related activities.

Visa fee will be 85 USD.

The decision will take effect starting from 1st of January 2019.
